Andi Otto: “Fello” Sensor, new 3D printed mounting

In July 2015, the sensors on my cello bow called Fello have been reworked by STEIM’s designer Nick (chihauccisoilconte) The accelerometer and battery parts have been fitted to the frog of the bow with a 3D printed mounting, while the pressure sensor now sits on a flat surface attached to the wood of the bow, for better playability.
I recent projects I use the bow as a standalone instrument, for example in the Pachinko Playalong performance at ZKM 2014. Therefore I wanted the bow sensors to be fixed to the bow in a compact and durable way.
