This is an intensive course in physical interaction design for sound and music. In this workshop we will work with small but powerful embeddable computers (the open, DIY-friendly Beagle Board) as a platform for creating stand-alone interactive artworks. These computers have the processing power and connectivity of a low-end laptop, but are much less expensive and fit inside a cigar box, making them ideal for building musical instruments and interactive installation works.
