This month Steim is showing a number of sound installations in Het Paleis, a theatre in Antwerp, Belgium.
We have been invited by Zonzo Compagnie to be part of their Music Labyrinth, an event aimed at children where they can interact with all kinds of musical installations and objects.
The first two weeks have been reserved for Belgium school classes, but starting the 26th of december until the 30th, general public can also visit the Music Labyrinth.
Steim is showing 8 installations, five are part of Steim’s Mobile Touch and three have been created by Steim’s artistic coordinator Fedde ten Berge. All the installations are intuitive to ‘play’ with, and are allowed to be touched, shaken, grabbed, etc, depending on the installation.
The same set has been shown in Rome, here’s a small impression.
