ENI GEVA. He is one of the top names in Japanese noise music and in a large
r context\, one of the great cult artists in experimental music since the e
arly 80′s.\nWe'll also have breakcore / performance act Peter Quistgard (Lu

“Mai-Juku” workshop and started his career by performing guitar improvisati
ons in the clubs in Tokyo. He collaborated with MERZBOW\, the band YBO2\, A
BSOLUT NULL PUNKT (with Seijiro Murayama\, the original drummer of Keiji Ha
ino’s FUSHITSUSHA)\, and also GEVA2 (GEVA GEVA) with Tatsuya Yoshida (RUINS
) and Eye Yamatsuka (BOREDOMS)\nIn the early 90′s he gained world-wide reco
gnition as the mastermind\, guitarist and singer of the progressive hardcor
e band ZENI GEVA\, releasing five albums produced by STEVE ALBINI (two on J
ello Biafra’s Alternative Tentacles label) and a few more on other labels s
uch as NEUROSIS’s Neurot Recordings. Also ZENI GEVA recorded twice for JOHN
PEEL SESSION on BBC\, and immensely toured throughout Europe\, USA\, Austr
alia\, New Zealand and Japan\, playing hundreds of concerts.\nAll the while
\, KK NULL has worked on his solo career and collaborated with other musica
l innovators such as Z’EV\, CHRIS WATSON\, KEIJI HAINO\, JON ROSE\, MATMOS\
, FRED FRITH to name a few\, and has been invited to perform at internation

noise\, structured electro-acoustic ambience\, broken down rhythmics\, sca
ttered pitch sculptures\, droning isolationist material which could be desc
ribed “cosmic noise maximal/minimalism”.\nKK Null (born Kazuyuki Kishino in
Tokyo) is a Japanese experimental multi-instrumentalist. He began as a gui
tarist\, but soon added composer\, singer\, electronic musician and drummer
to his list of talents\, and also studied with the Butoh workshop.\nNull j
oined the noise/progressive rock band Ybo2 in 1984\, issuing several albums
and EPs throughout the remainder of the decade. Later he founded more band
s\, such as Absolute Null Punkt (aka ANP) and his most well known one\, the
self-described "progressive hardcore trio" Zeni Geva. From that point he a
lso produced albums for other artists\, created his own record label (Nux O
rganization)\, played live and collaborated on albums with many other music
ians\, including John Zorn\, Yona-Kit\, Steve Albini\, Boredoms\, Seiichi Y
amamoto\, Jim O'Rourke\, Merzbow\, Fred Frith\, James Plotkin\, Keiji Haino
\, Otomo Yoshihide\, Jon Rose\, Damian Catera\, Atau Tanaka\, Zbigniew Kark
owski\, Z'EV\, Alexei Borisov\, Earth\, Cris X. Noisegate and Philip Samart
zis\, as well as supporting such artists as Sonic Youth and Mike Patton on
tour. Altogether Null has released more than 100 albums. In 2004 he restart
ed ANP and in 2006 they released their first studio album in 20 years.\n
